Balance & Skills Training
These are the anchor points of our home gym. With every holiday and birthday we built it out, adding the essentials for her to practice her latest skills. These are the the items to practice the real skills they learn in the big gym. Get ready to become a skilled spotter!
Strength & Fitness
The strength a gymnast requires is mind boggling. Watching my daughters strength build at home and in the gym has been incredible to watch. And with strength comes the skills. These are the picks we brought home to keep building her strength through play. She daughter scales the ladder wall, jumps on the trampoline, and spins on the spin stand daily, and I've watched her core and coordination quietly catch up to her ambition.
Mats & Flooring
Learning new skills is daunting to watch, Putting your kid up on a raised beam and letting them practice their handstand dismount can make your heart stop, but the right padding and mats make it a little safer and a little easier on my mom heart. Each of these pads and props have helped prevent injuries and nail new skills in our home!
Leotards & Apparel
My daughter cartwheels into every room like she's got an audience, so the outfit has to match the energy. We keep a rotation of sparkle leotards that minimize wedgies through bridges, walkovers and cartwheels, hair ties that actually stay put, and ribbon wands she twirls around the room with.
Gifts & Bundles
My daughter doesn't just do gymnastics, she IS a gymnast, and her room proves it. The neon light serves as her nightlight, her medals and trophy have a specific home in her room, and the cosmetics bag is her favorite to carry whatever goodies she needs that day. These are the favorite gifts we've picked out for our little gymnast!
